Once we receive your film, in-lab service time is generally 12 business days, depending on the film type and volume of work in the lab at that time. Historic, antique, and discontinued film types will face extended processing times beyone our standard service. If you have questions, send us a message or call us and we will be happy to check on the order for you. When your order ships, we will email you a shipping notification from our shipping department.
We suggest using a padded bubble mailer or box such as the type you find at your local post office. Paper envelopes tend to tear open while in the postal system and your film could be lost. Also be sure to use tape to secure your package closed. If you are shipping with FedEx or UPS, we would suggest using a box. Be sure to place adequate packing inside the box and secure with tape. Be sure to include your order receipt or order number with your order when you mail it in to us.
Yes, the negatives are returned with the processed order. Unlike many labs that discard or destroy the negatives after processing, Dwayne’s Photo always returns the processed negatives to the customer.
Yes. We offer push and pull services for multiple types of film.
Yes – Pushing or pulling will result in a moderate color shift in your film. However, it is frequently the only way to get usable images from film that has been significantly under or over exposed.
Yes, we will print tastefully done nudes and various types of boudoir photography. We will not reproduce images that we deem to be simply pornographic.
Child Pornography – It is a Federal crime to possess, transmit or reproduce child pornography. Our policy is to contact local law enforcement and provide copies of the images and all available account information if we receive images that appear to depict minors in sexually explicit poses (child pornography).
We use Ilford developer for B&W film.
No, unfortunately due to recent changes in tarriffs, import duties, and shipping restrictions we are no longer accepting film from outside of the United States. If you are an intnernational customer, please do not ship any film to Dwayne's Photo as it may be returned by the carrier undelivered at cost to you. We are also no longer offering outgoing shipping services to international addresses.
Yes. Currently, the only type of film that we offer cross processing on is E-6 slide film processed as C-41 color film.
126 film Look in the window in the center of the 126 cartridge, if you can see arrows pointing to the right >>>> your film has not been exposed (No pictures have been taken).
If the arrows are pointing to the left <<<< or you can see a number in the window or nothing at all, your film has been exposed. (Pictures have been taken).
Disc film If you cannot see a number in the small window of the disc
(No pictures have been taken).
If the small window has a number greater than 1 up to 15x your film has been exposed. (Pictures have been taken).
Returns Dwayne's does not allow returns of fresh film or other consumable photographic products. Apparel, accessories, and other merchandise may be returned for a refund as long as it is in its original condition.
Refunds Dwayne's does not issue refunds for processing services.
